3 Bernalillo, NM Bernalillo, NM Part-time Part-time $13,853 - $15,933 a year $13,853 - $15,933 a year 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago General Purpose Under close supervision, provides frontline customer service to customers and visitors of Sandoval County; ensures that all promotional and marketing stock is filled as needed within the Visitor Center; designs promotional packages for the Event/Visitor Center; shows potential clients around the event space to promote future events scheduling; and assists with equipment set up and tear down during events as needed.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Certificate and six months office assistant support that includes heavy customer service; work with graphic design software and/or event coordination is desirable.
Other Requirements Required Licenses or Certifications:
Valid New Mexico driver's license or ability to obtain a valid New Mexico driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Essential Job Functions Greets and assists customers at the Visitor Center; receives telephone calls, takes and responds to messages and E-mails; maintains the cleanliness of the visitor center; and keeps visitor information stocked for prospective visitors.
Assists potential event cliental; tours and shows the event center to customers; explains and responds to questions regarding the scheduling process, rules and regulations for the event center; and receives payments.
Maintains and cleans facilities including bathrooms, sweeps and mops floors, cleans walls and bancos, washes windows, and sanitizes counter tops.
Performs outdoor maintenance including sweeping, raking leaves, planting and watering flowers and plants, pulling weeds, and picking up trash.
Assists with the set-up of each event as needed, by carrying multiple sizes of tables and chairs in the correct area of a layout; and assists with the tear-down and removal of all event equipment when events are completed.
Works flexible hours, which, include day and night time hours, as well as working weekends when events are scheduled; assists with all events during the event times including maintaining cleanliness during and after hours of event, ensuring clients are assisted with any problems which may occur.
Creates multiple designs for Visitor/Event Center, using graphic design software, ensuring they meet specific guidelines and deadlines specified; and creates promotional and marketing packages by researching specific clientele and demographics; maintains social network marketing; and attends events for the marketing of the Event Center.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
